In close collaboration with SNCF International SA, IFF had the pleasure of welcoming 10 Vietnamese railway executives for a week-long immersion within the French railway ecosystem.
This Learning Expedition was part of the FEXTE programme – the Fund for Technical Expertise and Experience Exchange of AFD (French Development Agency) – dedicated to developing the skills of Vietnamese railway teams in the field of high-speed rail.
- A program structured around:
- Strategic interventions: SNCF Group today, challenges of decarbonization, sustainable mobility, and high-speed rail;
- In-depth training led by Pierre Messulam focused on high-speed rail projects (design, economic performance, and key success factors);
- Visits to major sites: the National Rail Operations Center (CNOF), Lille Flandres Station and Keolis Lille ilévia, Paris Gare du Nord, Technicentre Est Européen, Alstom headquarters, and more.
This week enabled:
- a dynamic France–Vietnam cooperation.
- rich and practical exchanges;
- the enhancement of skills on major rail projects;
We thank SNCF International, the various speakers, the IFF teams, our partners, and the Vietnamese trainees for their exemplary commitment.
A week full of learning, discoveries, and perspectives for the railways of tomorrow.
