As part of the technical cooperation project to support railway projects in Vietnam—led by SNCF International and funded by AFD (Agence Française de Développement)— IFF hosted 10 Vietnamese participants from the Vietnam Railways Authority (VNRA) and the Ministry of Construction (MOC) this week for a week-long training session in Morocco.

Following the first two modules, which focused on the construction of Morocco’s high-speed rail system and the implementation of high-speed infrastructure, this new session centered on operations, safety, and maintenance of rolling stock and rail infrastructure.

The program included field visits to the ONCF Centralized Network Control Center, Rabat Agdal Station, SIANA—the Moroccan High-Speed Train Maintenance Company in Tangier—as well as the Maintenance Depot and the High-Speed Rail Substation in Kenitra.

Since January 2026: over 130 participants trained by the IFF, 10 modules delivered in Hanoi, Paris, and Rabat, and a satisfaction rate of over 90%.

This new session is part of an ongoing cooperative project based on the sharing of railway expertise and know-how between France, Morocco, and Vietnam.
