In response to a request from SETRAG (Société d’exploitation du Transgabonais), IFF has designed a training course for managers aimed at training “operating inspectors”.

This 7-week training course alternates classroom theory, field visits and practical work on a signal box simulator.

The aim of this new training course is to enable trainees to :

• Assimilate the principles of safety management in railway operations
• Understand the purpose and principles of mechanical and electrical interlocking
• Know how to manage the movement of trains in a “traffic sector
• Know the measures applicable in the event of a fault in safety installations
• Know how to write an incident report
