IFF is partnering with the Association for the Development of Transportation Training (AFT) to support the implementation of the RECFIM project (Network of Training and Innovation Centers for Mobility Professions) in Senegal, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).

This collaboration will contribute to the development of new training programs in two strategic professions within the rail sector: train operation and rolling stock maintenance. It will focus on the development of competency frameworks, certification standards, and training programs to strengthen the rail training offerings in Senegal.

The project will support the development of training programs at several institutions, notably the ISEP in Thiès and the Néttéboulou Center in Tambacounda, with plans to expand to the CEP in Thiès.
