IFF IS A FRANCO-MOROCCAN INSTITUTE OF CONTINUING EDUCATION DEDICATED TO RAIL PROFESSIONALS.

IFF is launching a new training session dedicated to District Track Managers (CDT), for the benefit of around twenty ONCF trainees, composed of new recruits.

This training is delivered jointly by IFF and the ONCF Training Center.

Spanning 18 months, the program alternates between theoretical instruction and practical field immersion, aiming to develop future operational professionals capable of ensuring the maintenance and safety of railway infrastructure.

Educational Objectives and Technical Modules at IFF:

The training program aims to develop the future District Track Managers (CDT) through specialized modules, covering the following areas:

  • Track Laying with Continuously Welded Rails (CWR): Mastery of track-laying techniques and understanding the constraints related to rail continuity.
  • Railway Track Geometry: Understanding and controlling parameters that ensure operational comfort, safety, and durability.
  • Turnout Technology and Maintenance: Ensuring reliability and proper maintenance of critical network sections.
  • Rail and Weld Defects / Welding and Grinding Techniques: Diagnosing, preventing, and addressing infrastructure anomalies.
  • Organization and Practice of Major Track Works: Planning, coordination, and management of railway construction projects.
  • Civil Engineering Structures: Monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining structures associated with the track.

In addition, the program develops essential transversal skills, including construction and personnel safety, management, human resources, and supply chain operations.
