IFF is launching a new Catenary Training Program dedicated to infrastructure railway maintenance managers.

Over two weeks, participants alternate between theoretical learning and field immersion through a technical training platform specially designed and set up by IFF at the Kénitra works base.

Participants also benefited from a technical visit to the high-speed substation, further strengthening their immersion in real operational installations.

A unique technical platform, designed as a true training worksite

This educational setup faithfully reproduces the conditions of a 1500V and 25kV catenary worksite within a safe and controlled environment.

Trainees, divided into two groups, notably carry out:

  • Installation of a VAT
  • Installation of framing CLRs
  • Installation of a CV for equipotential bonding
  • Removal of tools in reverse order

Each participant is required to complete both the installation and removal of a CLR and a CV in 1500V and 25kV configurations.

Results: an 82% satisfaction rate, confirming the quality of the program and the relevance of the training approach.

Thanks to this technical platform, the training becomes practical, operational, and focused on professional skills, with a strong emphasis on safety and worksite supervision.

Through this innovative initiative, IFF once again reaffirms its strong commitment to developing the skills of railway maintenance professionals working on modern, high-performance infrastructure.
