From October 20 to 22, 2026, with the support of SNCF International, IFF participated in the International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate in Abidjan, an event dedicated to addressing sustainable mobility and climate issues by fostering partnerships, investments, and the sharing of experiences.

As part of the conference, IFF presented at the workshop titled “Training, Knowledge Transfer, and Professional Development: Skills at the Heart of the Transformation of Transportation Professions in Africa,” highlighting the strategic role of training and the transfer of expertise in supporting the transformation of the rail sector in Africa.

At the Business Club, discussions with stakeholders from across the continent opened up new avenues for cooperation and underscored the key role of skills in the success of transportation projects.

This participation reaffirms IFF’s commitment to making skills the foundation of more sustainable mobility by sharing today the knowledge that will advance Africa’s rail sector tomorrow.
