IFF, in partnership with SETER, is currently designing and piloting a project to develop a new railway course at the Thi\u00e8s Higher Institute of Professional Education (ISEP Thi\u00e8s) in Senegal. This programme, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD), aims to develop railway skills to serve the interests of the various networks and companies operating in Senegal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To this end, our Training Resources Manager, accompanied by two expert trainers in track and signalling, travelled to Senegal from 8 to 10 July 2024 to carry out the first phase of the project, dedicated to scoping and preliminary diagnosis of the assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim was to carry out group and individual interviews with ISEP Thi\u00e8s managers, with a view to developing the skills of 10 future trainers and managers in 4 railway sectors: Track, Signalling – Energy and Telecoms, Railway Operations and Safety, and Rolling Stock Maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
